Come and join us for the 3rd annual Colin Hubbell Bikes Detroit Ride at 9:30 AM on June 18.
This year there are two routes that start and finish at the Traffic Jam restaurant (and brewery) in mid-town Detroit. An 8 mile route that meanders through the heart of Detroit's midtown and a longer 25 mile route for bikers who want to explore a little more of Detroit.
The short route will start and finish at the Traffic Jam restaurant (and brewery) in mid-town Detroit. We will be touring through Wayne State, the New Center, Medical Center, Woodbridge, the Cass Corridor and points in between.
The longer route will cover these same areas but start with a trip up through the heart of Detroit, showing of the grittier side of Detroit..
Food is included as part of the registration fee. A block party featuring live music and entertainment will take place after the event. T-shirts for the first 200 that register and show up in advance.
Proceeds from registration will go the Colin Hubbell Fund administered by the University Cultural Center Association.
Traffic Jam Restaurant is at 511 West Canfield Street, Detroit, MI 48201 on the corner of Second Avenue and Canfield.
LATE REGISTRATION ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT INCREASES BY $5 the day prior (Friday) to the event. There will also be a registration before the ride starts. Please register in advance to ensure there is a spot for you. We may need to cut off registration if capacity is exceeded.

Colin Hubbell Fund
The Colin Hubbell Fund is housed as a project of the University Cultural Center Association (UCCA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. UCCA, established to serve Detroit's Midtown area in 1976, has over 60 members representing the area's cultural, academic, medical and service institutions, corporations, businesses and community organizations.
Funds are raised through individual donations and through periodic fundraising events. Currently, the fund has more than $30,000 available for Hubbell Fund projects. Donations to the Hubbell Fund can be accepted by the UCCA at any time.
